April 23/24, 2009 - CA Central Valley Region Water Quality Control Board (CVRWQCB)

This is a public hearing regarding the draft abatement order given to El Dorado County.  More on place and time as we get it.

April 25th, 2009 - "Tin Bender Johnson Valley Cleanup in association with Poly Performance"

Every year we put on an organized event at Johnson Valley called the Tin Bender Jamboree which is solely dedicate to raising money and interests to keep off-roading going strong.

All of our proceeds will be donated to saving not only the Hammers but surrounding 4x4 trails and recreation areas.
 

We have a great weekend planned for our Jamboree that will include; multiple organized trail runs led by club members/experienced wheelers, a huge raffle, a free barbeque (with entry), and a weekend of family oriented fun.

This year we are also offering Vendor booth spaces. These are absolutely free. All we ask is that you please make a donation to the raffle and buy an entry fee.

July 9-12, 2009 - Auburn Jeep Club run

75 rigs from Loon to Tahoma.  Sometimes Tahoe to Loon.  This is a great way to run the Rubicon in an organized event without  crowd of 600 of your closest friends.  Great value, great food.  Check it out by going to the AJC website on our links page

August 24-26, 2009 - Jeepers Jamboree & Jeep Jamboree
Always the last weekend in July and the first weekend in August, these are paid events that obtain a parade permit from El Dorado County, closing the trail to non-participants.

Sept 5/6, 2009 - Cantina for the 'Con 2009!

Saturday September 5th at the Spillway at Loon Lake.  This was an instant success the first year it was held by TDO (The Dysfunctional Organization).  This is a fundraiser for the Rubicon Trail Foundation. This will be the fourth annual and looks to be even bigger and better than the last. The rumor is more than just Dysfunctional tacos.  Who wants breakfast?
