Lake Tahoe Basin Management Unit (LTBMU)
– The Lake Tahoe Basin Management Unit is
the ending point for the Rubicon Trail.
Although this forest contains the shortest
amount of the trail, about three miles, the
environmental effects are most noticed here.
Everything within the basin drains in to
Lake Tahoe.
